In principio by Zanini is a Oriental Spicy fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. In principio was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Philippo Zanini. The fragrance features Tuscan Cypress, Bitter Orange, Turkish Rose, Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, Ambergris, Kumquat, Nutmeg, elemi, Lily, Mace, Palisander Rosewood and Labdanum. In principio by Zanini is a limited artisanal fragrance released in 2025 in an edition of only eight pieces. Framed by a biblical quotation about divine favor and annunciation, the perfume appears to explore themes of spirituality and contemplation through a resinous, floral, and spicy composition. The scent brings together bright citrus facets of kumquat and bitter orange with warm, aromatic spices such as mace and nutmeg. A floral heart of lily, ylang-ylang, and Turkish rose is accented by the green-woody character of Tuscan cypress and rosewood. In the base, frankincense, cistus and ambergris contribute a smoky, balsamic and mineral depth that reinforces the meditative and incense-like character of the composition.
