Ceremony by Clandestine Laboratories is a Woody fragrance for women and men. The fragrance features Green Tea, Bitter Orange, Fruits, Blue Lotus, Mushroom and Oud. Ceremony is designed to emulate a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and its atmospheric surroundings. The fragrance concept centers around a tea ceremony taking place in a wooden structure within a garden featuring a lotus pond, all surrounded by dark coniferous woods with the sea beyond. This unusual woody musk composition is described as strange, airy, and subtly disorienting, opening with a brief burst of bitter orange and juicy fruits. The fragrance was reportedly in development for years and proved challenging to execute properly, with the creator describing the concept of 'inconceivable dharmas' as perhaps overly ambitious for a skin fragrance. Despite these challenges, the final result is noted for its subtle power, huge diffusion, and unique characteristic of not causing anosmia, making it otherworldly in its performance.
