Batuk by Wren Atelier is a Aromatic fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Batuk was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Renato Lopena Jr.. Top notes are Pomelo and Blood Orange; middle notes are Bamboo and Rose; base notes are Patchouli, Oakmoss and Wool. Batuk is a fragrance inspired by the ancient art of traditional tattooing, known as ‘batok.’ A tribute to the cultural heritage of the indigenous people of Kalinga. Using pomelo thorn needles, bamboo sticks, and a coconut mixing bowl, the ink – composed of coal and water – brings to life a deep heritage. The scent aims to evoke the journey to the remote places where the mambabatok tribe resides, capturing the essence of history, craft, and the enduring spirit of tradition.
