Pilgrimage by Tanaïs is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for women and men. Pilgrimage was launched in 2021. The nose behind this fragrance is Tanaïs. Top notes are Saffron, Juniper and Nutmeg; middle notes are Marigold, Cardamom, Rose and Carnation; base notes are Dark Patchouli, Buddha Wood, Mysore Sandalwood, Seaweed, Ash, Sea water and Mitti Attar. Inspired by perfumer Tanaïs's book In Sensorium: Notes For My People, winner of the 2022 Kirkus Prize. A perfume meant to summon the Ganges River journey, from its source in the Himalayas to its end at the Bay of Bengal. Perfume is a borderless substance, one that erases our divisions and honors our interconnected lineages. This perfume is made with rare botanical attars sourced from Kannauj, one of the stops on this river journey, and features a mélange of olfactory notes that evoke the infinite landscapes of South Asia.
