Strange Days by Synesthesie is described as a resinous, incense-led composition inspired by the streets of Tokyo. It opens with labdanum, cypress, bitter orange, and calamus before unfolding a heart of incense, cinnamon, Moroccan rose, and Egyptian jasmine. The base settles into Egyptian balsam, ambergris, benzoin, and oud, shaping an ambery-woody drydown.
