Wandering Star

Wandering Star by Stone & Wit is a fragrance for women and men. Wandering Star was launched in 2022. The nose behind this fragrance is R Bagley. The fragrance features Pear, Brown sugar, Cashmere Wood, Iso E Super, Guaiac Wood and White Musk. To me (and likely many others), Portishead was the pinnacle of trip hop, pushing past the tropes of the genre into something bleak, black and utterly magical. I wanted to make something that reflected what I consider the "comforting melancholia" of Portishead. I feel like this was a tight wire - too many heavy notes would bring it into amber and incense territory, while too many light notes would bring it into clean-fruity and lose the heaviness. Hopefully, I've succeeded.
