Black & White by Step Aboard is a Floral Aldehyde fragrance for women and men. Black & White was launched in 2023. The nose behind this fragrance is Luca Maffei. Top note is Bergamot; middle notes are Aldehydes, Jasmine and Neroli; base notes are Styrax, Musk and Coumarin. "This fragrance, filled with contrasts, captures all the senses, just like the work it represents. Black & white, softness and solidity, closure and openness… It is a material fragrance with raw aldehydic hints, and the candid softness of musk surrounded by bitter black notes of styrax that recall the scent of ink. A fragrance inspired by the work «MONUMENT WITH STANDING BEAST» by Jean Dubuffet opposite the James R. Thompson Center in the Chicago Loop community area. The artist is a proponent of Art Brut, free and spontaneous art, and thus celebrates the aesthetic potential of primitive and childlike languages.
