Aura Maris by Pompeii is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Aura Maris was launched in 2025. Top notes are Lemon, Caramel, Saffron and Davana; middle notes are Marine notes, Patchouli, Amber and Cypress; base notes are Ambergris and Woodsy Notes. Aura Maris captures the essence of Pompeii, celebrating its timeless maritime soul and deep connection to the sea. Inspired by ancient merchants docking at its bustling port, the fragrance intertwines sweet, seductive caramel brought from distant Eastern lands with luxurious, golden saffron, symbolic of wealth and power. This opulence harmoniously blends with the bright freshness of Campania lemons, harvested from sunlit gardens surrounding Pompeian villas. Marine notes evoke the briny scent of waves crashing upon the shore, whispering memories of adventurous voyages. Aromatic and resinous cypriol recalls coastal pine forests, while warm amber embodies the radiant glow of sunlight dancing on the water.
