Meditation by Nu Wilds is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. The nose behind this fragrance is Yongshan Jin. Top notes are Tangerine, Fennel and Clove; middle notes are Sandalwood, Patchouli and Agarwood; base notes are Ambergris, Angelica and Benzoin. Meditation by NUWILDS is a unisex eau de parfum inspired by a Ming Dynasty imperial incense formula recorded in The Compendium of Fragrance: New Notes of Scent Hunting (香乘·猎香新谱). The composition reworks traditional Chinese aromatic materials into a modern, meditative fragrance. It opens with a warm, slightly candied impression where clove’s piquant spice is balanced by the citrusy brightness of chenpi (dried tangerine peel) and the herbal clarity of fennel. As it develops, Meditation reveals a calm woody heart of sandalwood, agarwood and patchouli that evokes the atmosphere of a quiet, carved-wood interior. In the base, benzoin, ambergris and angelica root bring a soft, resinous and slightly balmy depth, giving the scent an incense-like, grounded character. The overall effect is an amber-woody perfume that moves from gently spiced citrus to smooth, contemplative woods and a warm, resinous drydown.
