Top notes are Cambodian Oud, Saffron and Myrtle; middle notes are Cambodian Oud and Nagarmotha; base notes are Patchouli, Cambodian Oud and Sandalwood. OUD CAMBODI gets its name from the king note which is cambodian oud oil. Cambodian Oud oil, also known as Oudh or Agarwood oil, is among the most valued and expensive oils in the world. It's harvested from the Aquilaria tree, which is native to Southeast Asia, including Cambodia. The oil is highly prized in perfumery for its warm, woody, and complex scent, contributing a distinctive richness and depth to various fragrance compositions. The Oud scent is not derived from the wood of the tree itself, but from a resin produced by the tree as a defense mechanism against a specific type of fungal infection. Over time, this results in a dense, dark resinous heartwood that is the source of Oud oil.
