Ophelia by Manuel Attardi is a Floral Green fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Ophelia was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Manuel Attardi. Top notes are Aquatic notes, Lavender, Fennel, Rosemary and Palisander Rosewood; middle notes are Water Notes, Narcissus, Jasmine, Hyacinth, Carnation, Rose and Orchid; base notes are Seaweed, Patchouli, Orris Root, Immortelle and Sandalwood. "OPHELIA is dedicated to the namesake painting by British artist Sir John Everett Millais in the collection of Tate Britain, London. After I graduated at Brera Academy of Fine Arts I decided to move away from Milan to live in London. With a friend we found a little room in a cozy apartment very close to Tate Britain, so every morning while walking to work I used to stop by and say hello to Ophelia. I passed by every day. It gave me immense joy, reassuring her, telling her that everything would be okay. Warm her with my gaze. I would quickly pass the other rooms, the artfully colored walls behind each work, acting as a technicolor prelude to my appointment. The room with Francis Bacon's works was the monster to fight before reaching my princess. I knew I would have to move on from there, from all the pain, from looking in the mirror without recognizing myself. It was painful every time, but I dealt with it. I came to Ophelia every day, even if I was late, I would run through Saint James Park, I didn't care. But I had to go and find my Ophelia, look at her gaze which looked back into space. I was in love with a love that wasn't for me. To love Love. Love can end real badly, and Ophelia knows it well. I tried to depict it with the same maniacal obstination that Millais put in it, painting a nature full of details, with its flowers, plants, bushes and trees.
