Aspen by La Lettre is a unisex woody aromatic fragrance created in collaboration with perfumer Anna Borisova. The concept contrasts a snowy landscape outside with the muted calm of an interior space, where only the sound of crackling cedar logs is heard, and the air carries mineral, smoky and woody nuances. The composition features grapefruit and pink pepper touched by abstract mineral notes, which lead into aromatic sage and a soft accord reminiscent of hot tea. Cedar and vetiver provide a dry, resinous woody base with a subtle smokiness, evoking the atmosphere of a quiet mountain retreat observed through a panoramic window in winter.
