Meili 1 was created by Amelie Bourgeois, Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Emna Doghri. Top notes are Orange and Petitgrain; middle notes are Orange Blossom, Neroli and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Violet, Labdanum, Precious Woods and White Musk. "Meili 1 is an oriental floral. The velvety notes of orange blossom merge into a labdanum with petals punctuated with red. The designs adorning the bottles are inspired by the Chinese pottery offered to members of powerful dynasties. The traditional materials used to make pottery are the very essence of these ten perfumes, set in mother-of-pearl and black enamel.
