Patchouli Noir

Patchouli Noir by Aftelier is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Patchouli Noir was launched in 2025. Top notes are Cedarwood, Pink Pepper, Blood and Blood Orange; middle notes are Tomato Leaf, Nutmeg, Ylang Ylang and Concrete; base notes are Patchouli, Cognac, Ambergris, Coumarin, Pine tar and Ambrettolide. Patchouli Noir by Aftelier is a patchouli-centered composition built from four distinct materials—patchouli absolute, patchouli essential oil, patchoulyl acetate, and an antique patchouli reputed to be a century old. It emphasizes smoky, woody, and musky tonalities, with pine tar shaping a darker facet. Boozy warmth from cognac and spikenard is contrasted by the fruity-woody brightness of blood orange, tomato leaf, and blood cedarwood. Ambergris and ambrettolide add a soft muskiness, while ylang-ylang concrete, pink pepper, nutmeg absolute, and damascenone contribute floral and spicy nuances.
