Crushed Velvet by A. N. Other is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Crushed Velvet was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Catherine Selig. Top notes are Saffron, Amyris and Cypress; middle notes are Vanilla Orchid, Poppy, Incense and Smoke; base notes are Frankincense, Skin musk and Sandalwood. Warmth delivered with the gentle touch of velvet. Like sweet, soft, words spoken in a whisper. The intense notes of Saffron Blossom are hard to tame, and this makes the perfume complex. Saffron spice is a tiny vivid crimson thread, not much thicker than hair, with a spirit as wild as Daenerys Targaryen; and is as difficult to control as her dragons. The depth comes from Frankincense. An enigmatic gum resin that traces its roots to the Bible.
