Royal Oud by 4711 is an oriental woody fragrance structured around oud, florals and an ambery-woody base. The composition opens with a resinous and slightly fruity impression of elemi resin, raspberry and saffron, leading into a heart where jasmine, rose absolute and vanilla soften and round the character of oud. The base brings depth and warmth with amber, amyris, cedarwood, leather and patchouli, creating a rich and textured drydown.
