Sonnet No 1 by 4160 Tuesdays is a Floral fragrance for women and men. Sonnet No 1 was launched in 2023. The nose behind this fragrance is Sarah McCartney. The fragrance features Beeswax, Violet, Rose, Hay, Lily, Musk and Lavender. This is the fragrance we made for the Barnes Fragrance Fair, and the aim was to make the aroma of Shakespeare's flowers. Inspired by Gyles and Michelle Brandreth at their house in Barnes. Gyles suggested the name, because Shakespeare's first sonnet mentions "beauty's rose". To Sonnet No 1's beauty's rose - both the absolute and essential oil - we added lavender, beeswax and hay absolutes, and evoke the aromas of lily and violet. It floats on a bed of white biotech musk.
